History of the Lunch Program at CTK

CTK parishioner Carol Hunt was instrumental in beginning the program at MUST Ministries 20 years ago.   CTK parishioners Betsy Orr and Kathleen Swann began the Cathedral’s inaugural participation with 200 lunches made in their basements.  The next summer, they spearheaded our parish making almost 2,000 lunches. Summer 2023 will mark the Cathedral’s 15th year of participation in the MUST Summer Lunch Program and during that time, CTK has provided approximately 40,000 meals. Providing 1,500 lunches each week costs $3,000 a week for each of the 8 weeks of June and July. Your generosity is appreciated.
